Instructional Video
The intent of this project was to design and develop music and audio tracks to add to an existing silent video. The video was created for the purpose of providing instruction and engaging learners by connecting music and audio with visual information. The video was developed using provided silent video footage and additional reference materials. The intended target audience for this project was young adults ages 15-18. The audio narration and sound effects were created using GarageBand, and the music was courtesy of freemusicarchive.org. The voice over narration, combined with corresponding sound effects and era-style music, created an environmental soundscape appropriate for the subject matter and intended audience. In addition to the video, an edit decision list was also created to guide viewers through the various parts of the video.
